Team Lead – Day Shift

Job Summary
The Team Lead is responsible for the production of product, all employees assigned to the shift and maintaining all equipment.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for leading small teams of associates in all aspects of safety, quality, housekeeping, production and production reporting within their area of responsibility
- Read & understand prints and manufacturing orders
- Understand containment procedure (TS-WI.8.3-04) statistical control process charts
- Correctly use electronic scales and required gauges
- Use production report to schedule operators
- Perform setups for operators
- See that all jobs are set up properly with all things necessary to do the job, including components and paperwork
- Print and verify labels for MO’s
- Order components from warehouse
- Pull finished pallets to warehouse. Scan product into warehouse location and move product from one area to another
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, ERP Software)
- Capable of evaluating and weighing alternatives, establishing priorities, and formulating decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills
Experience
- Experience in a manufacturing field
- Experience as a team lead
- Machine setup experience
Education
- High school, GED, or equivalent diploma
